Sleep Apnea -- A Silent Killer -- Do You Have It?
Sleep Apnea is one of the most undiagnosed issues of men’s health. It might seem like an easily dismissed condition but having Sleep Apnea greatly increases your risk of high blood pressure, heart attacks and strokes and give you headaches, feeling tired, sluggish or depressed. Sleep Apnea puts you in the same risk category of having a road traffic accident as driving drunk!
If you are in great shape and think that you can’t get it, guess again. Many high-profile athletes have sleep apnea which it is more common then you may realize.
Shaquille O’Neal has sleep apnea and he is raising awareness of this killer. William Shatner who played Captain Kirk in Star Trek, Quincy Jones who is a famous music executive, Anne Rice the author, Brett Favre who played quarterback for the Greenbay Packers all have sleep apnea, so you can see that it is not uncommon. And by the way, I have sleep anpea too, so I know the importance, first hand, of treating it!
Find out if you are part of the club, answer these 4 simple questions and if you have it, I can help!
This questionnaire was developed to quickly identify people who are likely to have sleep apnea

(2) Do you often feel tired, fatigued or sleepy through the day? YES NO
(3) Has anyone observed you stop breathing during the night? YES NO
(4) Do you have (or are you being treated for) high blood pressure? YES NO

Proper nose breathing is a natural immune booster
Breathing through your mouth can open you up to potential infection. Breathing through your nose is especially critical in times of stress or when you are exposed to potentially dangerous bacteria and viruses.
Your body’s first line of defense is nasal nitric oxide, produced in your nose. It sterilizes the air you breathe, increases oxygen in the blood and has known anti-viral and anti-microbial properties.
If you breathe through your mouth, you are giving your body no chance to defend itself; microorganisms flood into the lungs unfiltered and undisturbed. By breathing exclusively through your nose, your body has the opportunity to engage its infection fighting capabilities and keep you healthy.
You should ALWAYS breathe through your nose throughout the day, during exercise and while asleep.
Stress and illness create an impulse to breathe harder and faster through your mouth. This is the reverse of how you should breathe and can actually worsen your blood oxygen level and feeling of breathlessness. You want to slow your breathing down by taking long, slow, deep breaths through your nose, into the lower lungs. Remember – “LSD” – Long, Slow, Deep breathing is the key. Feeling a bit of air hunger is beneficial – it means carbon dioxide is building in your system which will quiet your mind and relax your body.
In the above video I walk you through a simple exercise to boost your immune system and to strengthen your body’s natural disease fighting capacities.

Revolutionary treatment for erectile dysfunction in the Chicago area
Treat the root cause… low blood flow
Medical advances usually move forward in small steps, but sometimes discoveries result in large advancements that change the way an affliction can be approached. Acoustic wave therapy is one of those revolutionary treatments. Why? Because, unlike drug therapies, which mask the issue, acoustic wave treatment works in the realm of blood flow, which is a key factor to experience a full and hard erection. Things that affect your blood flow relate to your blood pressure, diet and exercise, as well as other health issues you may be experiencing like diabetes or heart disease. Medications you may be taking can affect your blood flow as well.
